We will undo the social conditioning that leads us to think alcohol is a reward and reverse the false belief that leaving alcohol behind is a sacrifice. We will develop self-awareness and uncover the limiting beliefs we have that are keeping us stuck. 


Mindfulness

Research suggests that practicing mindfulness for ADHD symptoms can train the brain to better concentrate and hold focus, as well as manage cravings and triggers associated with alcohol abuse. Becoming aware of our present moment experience (such as how we feel or what is going on around us) in an open and nonjudgmental way will help develop a lifestyle that promotes long-term healthy coping strategies. 


Healthy Habits

We will identify opportunities for creating habits and routines in our day and build healthy habits that stick. An alcohol free lifestyle can create more opportunities to feel aligned with your values and recognize your strengths. 


Reducing the Impact of Intense Emotions

We will identify our emotional capacity in different situations and discover healthier ways to manage intense emotions without using alcohol. 


Managing Triggers and Cravings

Cravings can feel extremely powerful. Becoming aware of your thought patterns and changing them will allow you to manage cravings proactively.


Confidence

Unhealthy drinking can both cause low self-esteem, and exacerbate existing feelings of low confidence. A life without alcohol is a life to be proud of.
